Art Deco Meets Ikebana
When you take a pageant queen with a love for novels and a soft-spoken groom who shares her obsession with murder mysteries, you know this wedding was bound to be one for the books!
This couple proved that you don’t need over-the-top decor to make a stunning statement. They nailed the art of “simple but effective,” using each piece purposefully to evoke elegance and intrigue. Think: golden centerpieces, sleek tables-capes, and an ambiance that oozed old-school glam with nods to Ikebahna.
Keeping with the bride’s vision for a sleek look, guests were asked to follow a chic black dress code. This simple yet elegant dress code allowed each guest to feel like they were part of a coordinated, glamorous affair while letting the details truly shine. The vision continued with personalized touches throughout their wedding. From sneaking their pups into their chalk wall mural, to their banner guest book for their home gym, every detail was thoughtful and perfectly them.
One thing we are absolutely loving is when couples actually get to enjoy their cocktail hour! Krystal and Matt made sure they had time to mingle with their friends and family along with enjoying their signature cocktails, The Apollo and The Blade, named after their 2 beloved dogs. Towards the end of the night Krystal changed into a beautiful second cocktail dress which made dancing and singing the night away chic and easy! Elite Catering rolled out their signature Flaming Donut Bar, where guests got to pick toppings for their Bills Donuts, and enjoy a sweet late night snack!
